A two-vehicle accident in Kenosha, which occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 10 at 22nd Avenue and 22nd Street, caused one woman to sustain non-life-threatening injuries.
According to preliminary investigations made by the Kenosha Police Department, 24-year-old Kenosha resident Hannah Damman was traveling northward along the roadway when 30-year-old Grayslake resident Melissa Camposagrado caused the collision. Camposagrado was headed west along the same roadway after pulling out from 22nd Street. She told police authorities that Damman’s vehicle had its right turn signal on at the time of the crash. Damman was transported to a nearby hospital to receive medical attention for the stomach injuries she incurred. Camposagrado was given citations for failure to yield the right of way.
