Wisconsin State Patrol released a statement on a Wednesday, July 13 crash, where an SUV was driving on the wrong side of the highway when it crashed head-on into a truck in a construction zone.
Emergency responders got a call before midnight for the crash near mile marker 270, and arrived to both vehicles on fire and the 30-year-old driver of the SUV trapped inside his vehicle. Rescue crews stopped the fires and pulled the man from the SUV, who was then flown to Froedtert Hospital facing life-threatening injuries. Police suspect alcohol was involved.
