Collision with semi kills bicyclist

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is Wisconsin has reported that a bicycle-semi collision that happened on Watertown Road near Redford Boulevard in Pewaukee last Monday, July 11 resulted in the death of a 59-year-old New Berlin man.

According to preliminary investigations, a semi was heading west on Watertown Road and was about to turn right to head north toward Redford Boulevard when it collided with a bicyclist who was going west on Watertown Road.

The bicyclist was declared dead at the scene of the accident while the operator of the semi, a 66-year-old man from Glendale in Milwaukee County, was unharmed during the incident.
