The Grafton Police Department in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin reported that a car-bicyclist collision occurred last Tuesday, August 2 around 12:50 p.m. in the 600 block of County Highway O. The collision injured one individual.
According to preliminary investigations, a car was traveling south on County Highway O when its driver hit a bicycle that was heading west on the Inter-Urban Bike Trail as the bicyclist crossed over County Highway O. The bicyclist, who was yet to be identified publicly, was airlifted via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa in Milwaukee County for the immediate treatment of his head and shoulder injuries. Both the Grafton Police Department and the Grafton Fire Department responded to the scene of the accident.
