A small, four-to-six passenger plane crashed in a Joliet neighborhood on Thursday, July 19. The pilot, the only apparent occupant, suffered fatal injuries, but aside from damage to the side of one home, no injuries were reported on the ground.
Joliet firefighters responded to the crash, assessed the scene, and put out the fire. The plane had taken off from Florida and was set to land in Wisconsin.
Although planes are a usually safe method of travel, crashes that involve planes can be of the most deadly. The thoughts of everyone at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® go out to the victim and his loved ones.
