Two sport utility vehicles transporting Boy Scouts crashed into one another near Bonduel, resulting in injuries for six of the cars’ occupants.
The first SUV, which was towing a trailer, left the roadway for a moment, overcorrected, and lost control. The two vehicles collided and ran off the road, during which the trailer was flipped and the second SUV fell slightly on top of the first. A troop leader, one of the injured, was airlifted due to a head injury. Bonduel police Chief Todd Chaney stated that he believed none of the injuries were life-threatening.
