One woman died in an accident between three vehicles on Wednesday, July 27. The road was closed for more than three hours before 11:30 am.
The 72-year-old woman who died was driving north on US 14 when she collided head-on with another car. She was the only occupant and was declared dead at the scene. Four people were in the other car and were all hurt, one with severe injuries. A third car, also headed north, was involved in the accident, though the 26-year-old driver was not hurt.
