A single-car rollover collision happened early Sunday morning on Highway 60 near Gluth Road in West Point Township.
Columbia County sheriff’s officers responded to a call that said the victim was laying next to his car in the ditch and he was found dead upon arrival. The victim was identified as Peter Ripp, 25, of Waunakee, and was not wearing a seat belt. It appears there were no passengers in the vehicle and alcohol seems to be a main factor in the crash.
