A major car crash involving three vehicles injured three people on Sunday morning, August 28, in the 7600 block of West Mill Road.
A speeding Ford Focus ran an assuredly red light while heading east, hitting a Chevy Suburban that was turning left through the same intersection. The suburban hit a third car, a Volkswagen Jetta, through the force of the first collision. According to an eyewitness, the suburban absolutely had the right of way and all the involved vehicles either spun out or flipped during the incident.
Of the three occupants of the Focus, two faced injuries and were treated and are in the custody of the police for theft of the vehicle they crashed while the third fled the scene before officials arrived. The driver of the suburban also faced injuries, but none too serious, while the Jetta driver was unharmed.
