A high school student injured himself when he flipped his car in a Madison school parking lot.
The 17-year-old told the Madison Fire Department firefighters and paramedics that he had been doing donuts in his car when it flipped over before 1:30 p.m. The crash coincidentally occurred during a seminar about reckless driving, being taught by the school resource officer to the victim’s fellow students.
The boy was free of his overturned car and sitting with school employees when the police and ambulance arrived on the scene. He was treated immediately by paramedics for a severely broken arm and would later be moved to a hospital. He had been wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred and had been driving around 15-20 mph.
