A motorcyclist who was not wearing a helmet when he was involved in a hit-and-run accident faced serious injury on Monday, October 3.
The accident happened near Mitchell and Muskego just before 9 p.m. when the 20-year-old operator of the motorcycle heading west went around the cars waiting at a red light and was hit in the middle of the intersection by an SUV. The northbound, silver vehicle stopped only for a moment before continuing on.
The investigation is ongoing as police asked the public to help them identify the driver of the SUV.
