Motorcycle crash kills one in Walworth County

A motorcycle accident along South Road in the town of Lyons received a response from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office about 10 minutes after 3 p.m. on Saturday, October, 15.

Upon arrival, authorities noted that a red Boss Hoss motorcycle was resting on its side, the 57-year-old driver, Timothy Adkins, on the ground nearby. The McHenry, Illinois man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police placed Adkins on the southbound lane of South Road when he lost control during a turn. Another southbound motorcycle was involved in the accident, but the driver and passenger of that particular vehicle were unharmed. The accident remains under investigation.
