In the aftermath of a fatal car accident between a pedestrian and a vehicle, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested by Milwaukee police and faces charges. The accident occurred on Monday, November 7, at the intersection of 60th and Norwich.

The police’s account details that a 50-year-old woman had been walking in a crosswalk when she was hit by the driver and died at the scene. The operator of the vehicle did remain on the scene following the incident.

The driver’s official charges include driving after suspension and causing death. The case will be further investigated by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office sometime within the next week while an autopsy was quickly scheduled for the following day.

The deepest condolences from the attorneys at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® go out to the victim and her loved ones.
