Teenager involved in Wisconsin deadly crash facing trial

Wrongful Death

A Wisconsin court recently decided the teenager charged in connection to a deadly vehicle crash in 2015 should appear in a trial, an article of WDJT stated on November 8.

According to reports, 18-year-old Brandon Kohel was involved in a vehicular collision in August last year. Kohel reportedly struck a vehicle driven by Michael Sybeldon on Highway KK near Mosinee. The collision reportedly occurred after Kohel tried to overtake a vehicle in a restricted area as they approached a curve. Authorities also learned that Kohel was traveling at 63 mph moments before the collision took place. Sybeldon died during the incident, while Kohel and two other people suffered injuries. A signature bond worth $10,000 was imposed on Kohel before he was released from custody.
