At least two people suffered serious injuries on December 20 after a four-vehicle accident in the northern portion of Dane County.
According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, at around 6:40 a.m., four vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 51, in Windsor. Reports revealed that a northbound vehicle driven by Antonio Carrillo-Maya went to the opposite lane after losing control and struck an oncoming vehicle. Two other vehicles reportedly failed to avoid the collision due to slippery road conditions. Maya and another driver identified as Chad Holmes reportedly suffered serious injuries. Maya is expected to get a citation after authorities learned that he did not have a driver’s license as well as for reckless driving.
