Texas Best Proteins announced that they are recalling 12.6 tons of Cajun-style rice products.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, the products subject to the recall were not properly labeled and contain peanuts allergens that are not listed on the packaging label. The items included in the recall, Farm to Market Foods Cajun Style Dirty Rice, are marked with establishment number “EST. 950” which is located inside the USDA mark of inspection. These were packaged on October 27, 2016, November 1, 2016, and November 11, 2016.

USDA urges the consumers to not eat the recalled foods and return them to the place of purchase. To date, no reports of adverse reactions related to the issue have been confirmed.
