A multi-vehicle collision took place near the Dairy Queen restaurant on Lincoln Street in Rhinelander.
Initial reports say that the accident occurred on the 19th at around 12:30 p.m. According to state patrol officers, the collision involved three vehicles, with one ending up crashing into the restaurant. The impact of the crash sent one car onto the street, blocking the westbound lanes of Lincoln Street. The third vehicle, a pickup truck, sustained major damage to its front end.
At least one person sustained injuries as a result of the crash. They were rushed to Ministry St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of injuries that are considered non-life threatening.
Investigators were requested to the scene to determine the cause of crash. It was snowy that day, so road conditions may have played a role. No arrests have been made.
