Kelly Leibhan is an attorney with Habush Habush & Rottier, practicing in the firm’s Kenosha, Racine, and Lake Geneva offices. She has been with Habush since 2022 and focuses her practice on personal injury matters, representing individuals and families who have been injured because of negligence.

Kelly brings substantial courtroom experience to her practice. Before joining Habush, she began her legal career with the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office in Kenosha, where she represented clients in criminal matters and developed hands-on experience in the courtroom. Her experience in the public defender’s office continues to inform her approach to litigation and client advocacy.

Kelly is active in the legal community and currently serves on the Board of the Kenosha County Bar Association as Past President, following her service as President in 2024. She is also a member of the Racine County Bar Association and the Wisconsin Association for Justice. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star® every year since 2024 and has been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America list every year since 2024 for Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.

A Kenosha native, Kelly attended the University of Wisconsin–Madison for both her undergraduate and law degrees. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a certificate in criminal justice in 2016 before graduating cum laude from UW Law School in 2021. During law school, she served as an associate and managing editor of the Wisconsin Law Review, participated in the UW Law Public Defender Project, and worked as a law clerk at Community Justice, Inc.

Kelly is proud to represent clients in the communities where she grew up and now practices. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
