Statement on High Winds Damage to Habush Habush & Rottier Sheboygan Office:
Following nearly 60 mph winds that moved through Sheboygan on Friday, the building housing the Habush Habush & Rottier law office and residential condominiums sustained damage to its flat roof. No injuries or structural concerns were reported.
Out of an abundance of caution, tenants were evacuated Friday afternoon while police, firefighters, and other emergency responders assisted on scene. Temporary repairs were completed Saturday morningto stabilize the roof until weather conditions allow for installation of a new roof later this spring or summer.
Tenants were able to return to the building Saturday evening, and Habush attorneys and staff have resumed normal operations. Clients can continue to reach the team and receive services as usual.
“We’re grateful for the quick response from law enforcement and emergency personnel who helped ensure everyone was evacuated safely,” said Christine Esser, lawyer at Habush. “We also appreciate the many clients and colleagues who reached out to check on our team.”
The firm thanks the Risse Condominium Association for coordinating repair efforts so quickly.
